HII was recognized as an industry top supporter of the historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) engineering schools at the annual BEYA Stem conference in February. Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition Recognized for Commitment to Hiring Individuals with Disabilities

Siyani Blount and Parnetha Callahan of Talent Acquisition attended the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Service (DARS) award breakfast on October 4, 2017 accepting the ‘Champions of Disability Employment Award’ on behalf of Newport News Shipbuilding where they were recognized for community outreach, partnership and commitment to hiring individuals with disabilities.
